She was great with both of our kids, and has the unique combination of being a very accomplished technical pianist who ensured my kids were learning good fundamentals, while also having a lot of patience and making learning fun. She was always responsive and looking for ways to help my kids learn better/faster and we highly recommend her as a teacher!

CJ was so good with both of my children! She saw strengths in them and in addition to learning to read music, she encouraged improvisation and song writing. Lessons were always fun and if my young daughter was having big feelings or lack-of-focus, CJ met her right where she was with friendly compassion. We moved outside of CJ's teaching range over a year ago and my kids still say how much they miss CJ! She's the best!
